Ibercisa has delivered the first of the five combined tow winches with anchor windlass contracted by Damen Shipyards to be installed on board a tug boat which is to be built at the Wilson Sons shipyard in Santos (Brazil). The supply of this equipment will take place between 2015 and the first half of 2016. The hydraulically driven winch has a centrally divided drum with a capacity for 150 m of Ø80mm rope on each side. It incorporates a double braking system and friction clutch. The line pull capacity on the winch is 339,3 kN at a speed of 12 m/min on the first layer.
