With the renovation of the fishing fleet operating out of the Falkland Islands, a new era has begun for fishing equipment.  The incorporation of latest technology into the winches designed and manufactured by Ibercisa Deck Machinery for the "Monteferro" and "Argos Cies" is a new landmark for the fishing grounds. A new vessel presently under construction in NODOSA, the second  belonging to Kalamar Fisheries owned by the Fontán family, will also incorporate the new technology from Ibercisa into its fishing systems onboard, a testament to the optimum performance of the equipment already installed on their first vessel.
