This supply is part of a  contract for  eight escort tugs with 80 TBP to expand the fleet of the Brazilian company. No Starnav Serviços Maritimos presently has 23 vessels (8 tugs and 15 platform supply vessels). 

 

The deliveries start in March 2019 and one tug will go into service for three consecutive months  with the final delivery scheduled for December 2020.

 

 The supply contract from Ibercisa for each vessel is comprised of  one Ibercisa hydrualic forward escort towing winch with 100 tons of dymanic pull capacity; one Ibercisa hydraulic Aft towing winch; two stoppers roller type for Ø22 mm chain; Ibercisa hydraulic cpastan; hydraulic equipment (PTO) to drive simultaneously the winches; wheelhouse control panel for winch (control with joystick and LCD touch screen); and commissioning.
