Ibercisa Deck Machinery has designed and manufactured the deck machinery for the new trawler under construction for Meridien Atlantic Fishing, at Meridien Maritime.  The vessel will operate in Canadian waters fishing deep sea species.

The supply by Ibercisa includes two trawl winches driven by electric motor 75 kW and with a line pull capacity of 12 tons on the first layer, two cod-end winches and a net drum.  The equipment is all electrically driven and is supplied with its corresponding electrical control panel.

This is the fourth project that Ibercisa has carried out on behalf of vessels operating in  East Canadian waters.  In the last three years the company has supplied deck machinery for the "Northern Osprey III" (owner Osprey Newfoundland), the "Calvert" ( owned by Ocean Choice International, Newfoundland), and the "Lady Comeau III (owner Comeau Seafoods, New Scotland).
