Alfonso Paz-Andrade Rodríguez, founder of Ibercisa Deck Machinery, passed away today, Tuesday the 7th of June 2021, after a road traffic accident. Born in Vigo in 1940, Alfonso Paz-Andrade held a law degree from the University of Santiago de Compostela. 

Over a long professional career, Paz-Andrade displayed his ambitious business vision through numerous initiatives. Since the foundation of Ibercisa, he strove to position the company on the international stage and in a diverse market. As president of the Board of Directors, he drove the company's growth based on three key pillars: technical excellence, professional qualifications and service.

News of his passing has caused great dismay for all in the business community and fishing industry. 

Ibercisa is grateful for the all of the condolences it has received, and extends its deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
