World Maritime Week (WMW) will take place in Bilbao this week, bringing together four congresses at the same forum: Eurofishing, Sinaval, Futureport and Ocean Energy Conference; all sectors for which Ibercisa Deck Machinery offers technological solutions. More than 60 international experts are expected to attend to discuss subjects such as Marine Spatial Planning, competitivity and resilience in the maritime industry, the advances in wave and tide power, and decarbonisation.

WMW will host the WMW Awards for the first time, a new initiative that recognises the work of maritime sector professionals and the projects that they’re involved in. There are four categories, one for each congress in the forum: Sinaval, Eurofishing, Futureport and Ocean Energy Conference.
