Ibercisa Deck Machinery has been awarded the Most International Company prize at the second edition of the Banco Sabadell Company of the Year Awards, organized by Prensa Ibérica.

The ceremony took place at the Pazo dos Escudos in Vigo, with the attendance of the President of the Xunta de Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, and the Mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero. The award was presented to Valente Paz-Andrade, President of Ibercisa, by the Regional Minister for Economy and Industry, María Jesús Lorenzana Somoza.

The president of Ibercisa dedicated the award to all the “men and women of Ibercisa,” a recognition that, he added, “motivates us to work with commitment, responsibility, and great enthusiasm.” He emphasized that “being international today means not only having a presence in various countries, but also understanding, respecting, and building bridges with other cultures — something the Ibercisa team does exceptionally well”.

Founded in Vigo in 1969, Ibercisa has always supported local companies and maintained its Galician roots. Today, it exports to over 55 countries. Paz-Andrade acknowledged that this award also honors the vision of the company's founder, who worked tirelessly to put Galician industry on the global map, with a forward-looking mindset and a deep respect for its origins.
