In the world of Tug Boats, Ibercisa Deck Machinery supplies one of the world tugboat leaders, Svitzer through ASL Singapore. The order includes two winches each for 4 tugboats Escort type, of 100 tons "bollard pull". The vessels operate at the LNG Wheatstone terminal in Australia, with their respective certificates for operating in explosive atmospheres (ATEX). The four units will be supplied with electrically driven winches with dynamic pull control, 200 kW engine at 750 rpm and 690 V with capacity for 250 metres of rope of 64 mm on each drum and a pull capacity of 145,4 tons at 7,3 m/min first layer at slow velocity and 12,3 tons at 92,3 m/min at fast velocity. It also has compensating pull by dynamic brake which reduces a power of 750 kW. The machinery has static and dynamic pull control as well as an electronic stowing facility able to support 100 tons of axial load, a must for the escort mode. Two of these vessels will have a towing winch on the bow also electrically driven with a 75 kW motor at 750 rpm and 690 V with a capacity for 300 metres of 64mm rope and a nominal line pull capacity of 32,8 tons at 12 m/min on the first layer.
