Ibercisa Deck Machinery has recently signed a contract for the supply of equipment for the trawler Pechora, under construction for the russian company Andeg at the Turkish shipyard Tersan. Specifically an electrically driven trawl winch with a 250 KW motor, with a capacity for 3.400m of wire of 28mm diam. and a line pull of 37.3 tons at 34,9 m/min; an electric gilson winch with a 75 kw motor and a capacity of 125 m of 40mm wire, line pull of 20,1 tons at 21,4 m/min on the first layer, electric sweepline winches with a 75 kw motor: electric auxilliary codend winches with 75 KW motors and a wire capacity of 150 m 22mm diam., as well as electric anchor windlasses and capstans. This vessel joins a long list of Russian boats with Ibercisa technology on board. Some are susbstituting their hydraulic equipment for electrically driven machines. others renovating either to bring vessels up to date or build new vessels with machinery which is both designed and manufactured by Ibercisa.
