Ibercisa Deck Machinery has designed and supplied eleven electric auxiliary winches for Yasref, Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company Ltd, at the LNG Terminal in Saudi Arabia. The design of the mooring units is customized for this project and Saudi Archirodon Ltd has chosen electric technology for these units designed to fit an electric remote control system in the future.

These electric auxiliary winches are driven by an electric motor of 7,5 kW at 1800 r/m, 460 V-60 Hz with electro-magnetic brake, including winding heater. They have a capacity for 200 m of wire Ø12 mm and a nominal line pull of 1,9 tons at 23 m/min at first layer.

The eleven winches includes control boxes which include on/off switch with indicator light; forward/reverse swithc with two indicatos lights; reset/trip button with indictor light; low/high speed swicht; and energency push button.
