“Ibercisa, Deck Machinery” is a company which manufactures maritime deck machinery and has a wide presence in international markets and in different segments: offshore, fishing, oceanographic, AHT, tug boats and even civil works. The electric ROV type winch driven by 2 motors of 160 kW at 1189 rpm, with capacity for 3,336m of 34,1mm diam and a line pull of 305,5 kN at a speed of 55 m/min is an outstanding recent delivery by the Company. Ibercisa has also recently signed a contract with ASL Singapore for the supply of deck machinery for Svitzer, the number one tug company in the world belonging to A.P. Moller Maerks, which is building 4 x 100 tns bollard pull tug boats for the Wheatstone LNG terminal in Australia and which will be supplied with electrically driven technology. All the winches have their respective certificates to operate at gas terminals and comply with the corresponding Australian legislation (AMSA, NSCV,WA). Two of these units for Svitzer will be fitted with an electrical towing winch, a wave winch with dynamic pull control, 200 kW engine at 750 rpm and 690V with a Ø64mm rope capacity of 250m on each drum and a pulling capacity of 147,4 tons at 6,8 m/min first layer at slow speed and of 206,3 tons at 6,8 m/min on rendering (40 %). On the stern, an electrically driven towing winch with a 75 kW motor at 750 rpm and 690V with Ø64mm rope capacity of 300 m and a nominal pull of 32,8 tons at 12 m/min on the first layer. The other two units will have an electrically driven towing winch with a motor of 200 kW at 750 rpm and 690 V with a Ø64mm rope capacity of 250 metres on each drum and a pulling capacity of 147,4 tons at 6,8 m/min first layer at low speed and of 206,3 tons at 6,8 m/min on rendering (40 %). Ibercisa has delivered the first of the five combined towing winches with anchor windlass contracted by Damen Shipyards to be installed on board a tug boat which is to be built at the Wilson Sons shipyard in Santos (Brazil). The supply of this equipment will take place between 2015 and the first half of 2016. The hydraulically driven winch has a centrally divided drum with a capacity for 150 m of Ø80mm rope on each side. It incorporates a double braking system and friction clutch. The line pull capacity on the winch is 339,3 kN at a speed of 12 m/min on the first layer. Also destined for the ASL Marine shipyard in Singapore is the machinery for two dredging support vessels. Each unit will be fitted with an hydraulically driven towing winch with a capacity of 75 m of Ø52mm rope and a line pull of 109,6 tons at 5m/min on the first layer and an hydraulic towing winch with a line pull capacity of 49,4 tons at 5 m/min. The company has also delivered machinery for the 82 tons bollard pull tug boats which President Marine is building in the shipyard based in Bonny Fair China. This includes a combined towing winch, hydraulically driven for 2 x 250 m of Ø60mm rope and Ø22 mm chain with a pull of 105 tons at 10 m/min on the first layer. The supply also comprises of a towing winch, hydraulically driven with capacities of 800 m of Ø52mm wire and 65,4 tons at 9,2 m/min on the first layer as well as an hydraulic capstan with a pull of 6,5 tons at 15 m/min. Ibercisa is about to deliver equipment for two tug boats under construction at Uzmar, Turkey. The supply includes a combined hydraulically driven towing winch and a Ø72 mm rope capacity and Ø17,5 mm chain. The line pull is 40,5 tons at 10 m/min on the first layer. Among supplies to the offshore segment, is an important order from the Keppel Singmarine shipyard for a pipe laying vessel built by McDermott consisting of 4 electric docking winches mod MAM-E/125/250-28 driven by a 125 kW motor with a pull on the first layer of 41,3 tons at a speed of 15,4 m/m with a capacity for 400 metros of 250 metres of 28mm diam. rope; 2 electrically driven tugger winches with a motor of 66 kW at 1.188 rpm with a capacity for 400 metres of 32 mm wire and 21 tons on the first layer at 16 m/min; an auxiliary winch also electrically driven mod. MAX-E/65/1000-25 with a capacity of 1000 25mm diam wire, driven by a 65 kW motor at 1,788 rpm and a pull of 10,4 tons at 31,9 m/min on the first layer. 2 electric anchor winches mod. MAN-E/100-S/200-60/1, driven by an electric motor of 108 kW at 885 rpm with a pull of 30 tons on the first layer at a speed of 17,5 m/m for 100mm diam. chain; 4 electric capstans model C-E/40/15-10 for 60 mm diam. rope driven by a 30 kW motor at a speed of 1.170 rpm and two stoppers for 100 mm diam. chain. Also for McDermott Ibercisa has supplied deck equipment for the “Lay Vessel North Ocean 108” built at the Vigo shipyard Metalships & Docks. The supply includes combined anchor winches for 60 mm diam. chain, mooring winches and pedal driven Capstan bollards. This is the third vessel for which Ibercisa has supplied this type of equipment in the Vigo shipyard, which has also sold the machinery to the Norwegian company Oceanteam, to McDermott and the French company Technip. Renting One of the fastest growing sectors in the Ibercisa deck machinery order book is Renting.
