To be held from the 1^st - 3^rd December 2017.  This sponsorship is part of the Company’s strategy to collaborate with projects in the town which promote talent and values. The competition which will be held in the Music Conservatoire in the Castro, will welcome around 60 students from all over Spain and Portugal.  On the 17^th November there will be a concert in the Teatro Afundación in Vigo featuring last year’s winners who as part of their prize win the grand opportunity to perform as a soloist with a symphonic orchestra.
 
The orchestra this year will be from the University of Minho in Braga and will be conducted by Maximino Zumalave from the Philharmonic in Santiago de Compostela.  On the 23^rd November at 11.30 a.m. the younger winners will perform, accompanied by the Orchestra from the Conservatoire in Vigo in the Auditorio del Mar de Vigo. Nearly 1,000 school children will attend the concert in buses organized by the Town Council within their programme “Vigo Educates”.
