Ibercisa will take part with gusto in the 2014 edition of Navalshore to be held in Rio de Janeiro from the 12th - 14th August. Brazil is an important conquest for this Company which manufactures its naval machinery in its Vigo factory and which is making a concerted bid to position itself in this market. Over the last two years Ibercisa has supplied naval machinery to the following companies: - Muliceiro, for the AHT Coimbra. Specifically a hydraulic combined towing winch with capacity for 15000 m of 54mm cable and a hydraulic anchor windlass for 30mm diam. chain and stowage capacity on the drum of 160m of 30mm mooring rope. - Muliceiro, for the Line Handler Aveiro: A hydraulic towing winch with a divided drum for work in two areas and with a capacity of 660m on one and 300m on the other for 40mm diam. mooring rope and a hydraulic anchor winch. - Muliceiro for the tugboat Costa Nova, a hydraulic auxilliary anchor winch for 150m of 18mm cable. - Corema for the support vessels Navemar 18, Navemar 19 and Navemar 20, three hydraulic anchor windlasses with a capacity of 22mm diam. chain. - For two Tugboats from Tugbrasil under construction at Inace, hydraulic combined towing winches with anchor windlass of 70 HP. They have drums divided into two work areas, each with capacity of 120m of 64mm rope. They are also equipped with a wildcat of 22 mm diam. for docking procedures. - For the bulk carriers Navenor S.A. ´- Servicos Marítimos built at Río Negro (ERIN) shipyards, 4 hydraulic anchor winches for 36mm wire. - For the Company Tugbrasil Ibercisa has supplied new machinery for the Tugboats Tanarius, Pelagius, Caillean, Lugos, Sulis and Brigantia. Specifically, hydraulic combined towing winches with anchor windlasses of 50 HP with a capacity for 200 metres of 50mm diam. rope. - For the Company Hermasa Navegaçao da Amazonia, four hydraulic auxilliary winches and two vertical capstans. Today, Ibercisa enjoys a strong presence in the tug sector, AHT vessels and offshore and 80% of its production goes to foreign markets, mainly Brazil, Russia, China, Norway, Holland, Mexico or Singpore. Machinery is designed at the company's technical office in close collaboration with owners with the objectives of adaptability and practicality being foremost. Ibercisa has ISO 9001 AND 14001 quality certificates and recently obtained an OHSAS 18001 Certificate. In Brazil the Company has been certified by Petrobras.
